About the Creator

Edwin Resto is a screenwriter, novelist, comic creator, and founder of FTRON Productions.

Based in Miami, Florida, Edwin created the Fagatron Universe, an expanding multimedia science-fiction saga spanning comics, novels, screenplays, animation, live appearances, and future stage productions.

His work blends superhero mythology, science fiction, fashion, fantasy, horror, and adventure to create stories that celebrate hope, identity, imagination, and transformation.

A Quarterfinalist in the ISA Great Pitch Competition, Emerging Screenwriters Genre Competition, and NexTV Writing & Pitch Competition, Edwin has developed a diverse slate of original projects across multiple formats. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Screenwriter Magazine, a publication dedicated to celebrating writers, creators, and the art of storytelling.

His notable works include FAGATRON® LIVES: Volume One, FAGATRON® ORIGINS, the supernatural romance The Tide Is High, the service-industry slasher Gratuitous, the animated musical fantasy Hialeah Cats, and the animated noir series City⚡️PD.

The release of FAGATRON ⚡️ ORIGINS marks the first published comic chapter in the expanding Fagatron Universe, introducing readers to a world of heroes, villains, mystery, and adventure spanning Earth and Galaxia.

When he is not creating new stories, Edwin can be found developing future installments of the Fagatron saga, attending conventions, connecting with fans, and exploring new ways to bring original worlds to life.
